The drive towards the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) before 2030 set mark across countries of the world, has always been on the front burner, even as the tide of challenges confronting the attainment of these goals seems to be getting stronger in countries where poverty, hunger, poor health outcomes, gender inequality, and lack of access to basic education, are prevalent. This development is also largely responsible for displacements of families and communities, loss of livelihood, sexual and Gender-Based Violence)SGBV), Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG), food insecurity, malnutrition, and increased vulnerabilities, manifesting in poor health and living conditions, and consequent spread of Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps.
