EMPOWERMENT

A core strategy of WRAPA is to change the status of women and girls by empowering them with education, skills and enhanced self-esteem. This is achieved through varied interventions; WRAPA addresses the ever pressing need to tackle the interconnected challenges of HIV, poverty and human rights issues of women, which aggravate their vulnerability to gender-based violence in Nigeria.
